Harry potter 7 is not playing why?

I have just downloaded it from torrent and when i played it. it says ” codec error redirecting to microsoft codec download page” and nothing happens. what to do? i have tried it to play it with all popular players but its showing the same message . its an .avi file. please help!!!!!!!!

The movie was more than I could have imagined and don’t ruin it by watching it on your computer.
I’ve seen it twice, first time being at midnight. The second time was just a little bit better (If that’s possible.) because I noticed things I didn’t see the first time.
